In Memoriam: Victor A. Borghi, Jr.

Vic was a lifelong resident of New Concord, and one of the founders of The Society of New Concord. He was born on March 23, 1928 to Victor and Freda Borghi. He died on February 14, 2019.

He retired from NYSE&G in 1990, and then devoted himself full-time to beekeeping. He was an avid hunter and taught archery classes to children.

Vic is survived by five children, Denise Sabo of Hudson, Jeff (Ann) Robison of Wasilla, AK, Carrie Kreitner of Kinderhook, NY, Teresa (Steve) Hatch of East Chatham and Mark Borghi of Stockbridge MA. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren 18 greatgrandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Joan, his wife of 53 years, died in May 2016.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday 4:00 – 6:30-pm at Wenk Funeral home; a service will follow.
