Our new Daley Road neighbors at the Flying Deer Nature Center, have invited New Concord residents to join them at their annual Flying Deer Day. This yearly community celebration will take place on their new campus at 122 Daley Road.

Join them for a ribbon-cutting ceremony, nature activities and games, great food, live music, and fun for all ages! 

Here's the schedule:

• 11:00 am: Opening Circle and Fire-Lighting with Flying Deer Students
• 11:30 am: Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony and Honoring of the Laskin Family
• 12:00 pm: Nature Craft and Activity Stations Open: Archery, Paper-making, Friction Fire, Henna, Hair Wraps, Skulls, Wand-making, and more
• 12:00 pm: Salad Buffet, BBQ, Music, and Bake Sale Begin
• 2:30 pm: Olympic Games, Flying Deer Style!

This is a chance for the New Concord residents to get to know the Flying Deer Nature Center community. There are few better settings (food, music, lovely nature) in which to get acquainted with neighbors. We will let them know what we are about, and they will do likewise. Please attend and represent SNC!
